Across haircare, skincare, footwear care, and aquatics, I take products from the first SKU to the shelf, operate them to profit, and structure them for acquisition. Now, through Founder Reels, I help founders and executives build the most valuable brand they own: their own.
Here is what I am building now, and what I have built before.
Market Fresh Beauty, skincare and hair accessories. Soulr Products, patented gel audio speakers featured in the New York Times, Entrepreneur, Popular Science, and on national television. Plus two decades across global product agencies, eCommerce at scale, and China sourcing and joint ventures.
I do not build brands by instinct. I run the same method every time, and each brand makes the next one faster.
I start where a clean, well-priced, well-positioned product can win against incumbents who have stopped paying attention. The engineering background helps: I look for structural gaps, not trends. Maya Mari Kids exists because kids' textured haircare was underserved by both adult brands and salon lines.
Modern consumer growth runs on real people, not ad spend alone. I build creator and affiliate engines that generate volume and trust at the same time, the system behind thousands of Maya Mari Kids creator videos and its bilingual community. This is the new machine most legacy operators cannot run.
Once a brand has proof, I extend it into specialty and national retail through buyers, distributors, and trade shows. Flipper's dealer network and Sneaker Magic's wholesale push into footwear boutiques are the same motion in two different categories. This is the old machine most creator-era founders cannot run.
Growth without profit is not a brand, it is a hobby. I manage pricing, sourcing, quality, and team accountability so the brand makes money, not just noise. Running global supply chains and distributor terms across the portfolio is where the operator work actually lives.
Every brand is built to be an asset a strategic buyer would want, with clean positioning, real traction, and room to scale under a larger owner. Where it accelerates a brand, I pursue bolt-on acquisitions. The exit is the design intent, not an afterthought.
The pattern is the point. I have run it across haircare, aquatics, and footwear care, and I am running it again now.
Founder Reels turns decades of hard-won expertise into a personal brand that creates opportunity, using personal branding, AI workflows, and the same systems I use to build my own.
Most founders and executives are nearly invisible where it now counts. The work is real and the reputation is earned, but almost none of it shows up online, so it quietly compounds for everyone except them. Founder Reels closes that gap with a system, not a guessing game.
Building The Clean Standard, a plant-based cleaning brand led by Sneaker Magic and positioned for strategic acquisition.
Operating Flipper Aquarium Products and scaling Maya Mari Kids across TikTok Shop and retail.
Launching Founder Reels, a transformation program for founders and executives building their personal brand.
I am an operator who builds.
For more than twenty years I have taken consumer products from idea to retail shelf, across categories as different as kids' haircare, skincare, footwear care, and aquatics. I build brands to be owned: by customers first, and by the right strategic acquirer eventually.
The way I build comes from three places. An engineering degree taught me to see a category as a system and find where it breaks. Years sourcing products and running a joint venture in China taught me supply chains, margins, and how a product actually gets made. Two decades in national accounts, eCommerce, and global product agencies taught me how a brand actually reaches people, from Amazon and TikTok Shop to the retail buyer's desk.
Today I run that playbook through Los Angeles Brands, where I build and operate a portfolio that includes Maya Mari Kids and The Clean Standard, and as Managing Partner at Flipper Aquarium Products. Most recently I launched Founder Reels, to help other founders and executives build the brand that matters most, their own.
I am based in Los Angeles and a member of Entrepreneurs' Organization, where a network of founders keeps me sharp. I am happiest in the early, uncertain part of building, when a brand is still just a bet worth making.
